However, due to geographic production availability constraints, some rates might cost a little more (in some cases, a little less).

Here's how it works: when you're placing an order and you choose the product, you'll get a visual note of the special rate in the shipping price for the product in question. Here's a visual example of how that note looks like.

Another thing to clarify is that if you are ordering several different products, and if you choose a shipping option which has a special price for 1 product but not the others, only that product will incur the special shipping price and the others will have their regular shipping price. This means the special rate is calculated and applied individually and not for the group of products.
